They are usually accompanied by a Specialist Registrar. Tuesday: (all day) Dr Chris Alcock and Dr Amanda Salisbury visit on alternate weeks. Area of specialty - breast, prostate, head and neck. On alternate weeks the team is joined by Dr Andy Theobald, Hospital Practitioner in Oncology. Follow up patients are reviewed in the morning Clinic and new patients are seen in the afternoon Clinic. Consultant also attends ENT/Oncology Combined Clinic seeing head and neck patients. Thursday: (morning) Dr Nicola Warner Area of specialty - gynaecology, brain, colorectal, upper GI. New patients and follow up patients are reviewed in this Clinic. Also attends Gynaecology/Oncology Combined Clinic at six weekly intervals. Friday: (all day) Dr Nick Bates Area of specialty - lung, skin, colorectal, haematological cancers. A limited number of new patients are seen in the morning Clinic; mostly review of follow up patients. The afternoon Clinic is for mainly new referral first appointment patients, and for the review of patients currently receiving chemotherapy treatment. Also attends Dermatology/Oncology/Plastics Combined Clinic on the fourth week of the month.
