Haematology - Clinic Times

The Haematology department holds its main clinics on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. The Haematology nurses, doctors and the laboratory all work together so that blood tests, results and consultations take place within one appointment.

The appointments are spread between 9.00am and 12.30pm, with new patients being seen at 11.00am.

Tuesday is the anticoagulant clinic day, with sometimes over 170 patients being seen in one day! Anticoagulant patients are also seen as necessary through the rest of the week.

Paediatric patients have a dedicated clinic on a Monday afternoon.
